Sorry to ask this...maybe I'm looking at it wrong or maybe it's just that I'm new. I'm trying to participate in the discussions on here but it seems difficult to do that. Is it something I've done or said or does it just take time?

Glaswegian and Edinburgh dialects. I understand that there are some noticeable differences which are cause for humor between the two communities. No need to apologize. It was my failure alone.
