I just don't know what to do with myself. It sometimes feels like the only kind of people I attract are bullies. It's frustrating because I don't know how to stand up to bullies. When I look it up it's not very specific and it does't tell you what to do next. If I ask for advice it does't help because every situation is different and so is the bully and I honestly don't have the intuition to figure out what to say and when to say it. the only way i can usually do it is when I carefully rehears In my head several times how to word things so then I usually just talk to an authority about it. I don't know hoW else to respond.

I''m doing online dating and itbdoesn't feel right. I don't feel interested in anyone and it does't feel real. It seems like there's trolls and a lot of the guys seem uncomfortable around me.

Ratings just really difficult in general and it feels li.ke people don't really get how difficult it is. People say it's hard fir everyone, but I''ve near even cuddled with anyone before. People don't understand that. The few that do show interest always find someone they like more. It feels impossible.

Then it seems like a lot of peo.ple feel sorry for me and act uncomfortable .arfound me and it's not something that just happens once in a while. It's a regular thing.

Are the bullies males or females, or from both?

You're sweet. You look like the Mona Lisa.

Forget all the naysayers, the bullies.

You're a shy person, and people tend to be leery around shy people, for whatever reason.

I'm not going to advise "be less shy"--but I think it would help. Try to open up to people.

It seems being shy doesn't usually have a happy ending.

Have you considered dating other aspies?
They'll likely to be similar shy and not bullies

Yes, I would actually want to, but it seems like most if the time either they drift away, don't like me or I'm not interested in them.

Where have you tried meeting them?

Autism groups, WP and dating sites though I'm not sure if the guys on the dating site are, but some of them seem to be.

It's like a pattern. When guys are depressed and lonely they reach out to me and some talk about how others push them away and then it seems like they do something similar to me. There must be something really unappealing about me for this to happen so much, but I'm not sure what it is. I don't think I act desperate towards them or anything like that. I just don't know what to do about it all. I'm sick of people feeling sorry for me and I'm sick of being mistreated and not knowing how to respond. I don't think it's a confidence thing. I just don't have the intuition to know how to respond in real time.

I take it one one of the not interested in guys.

As to the ones pushing you away i dont know. Do you act distant towards them? Maybe they thought you weren't interested anymore and that's why they moved on.
You seem nice and pretty so i dont know why guys would push you away.

Hugs

I don't think that's it. I might act distant irl, but with some of the ones that I connected with online I would actually initiate a lot of the conversations. Sometimes it would feel like I was the only one making an effort to talk and then after that I would become more distant from them.

Standing for myself is so complicated. I've been talking to the managers for a while about someone who has been bullying me and have tried different things before going to them. When they did something I would sometimes call them out, in a calm sort of way, because I heard that if you don't stay calm they will feed on your emotional response. Other times I would just completely ignore them hoping they would get bored and leave me alone. I started asking advice on what I should do to one of the managers and they told me if the person is invading my space or something I should say excuse me really loud because he would be caught off guard. If I spoke up really loud though that might also make me seem emotional and then cause the bully to feed on my perceived emotional response and then cause him to do it even more. It's frustrating that I can't figure these things out on my own. I'm able to explain things to the managers ok because I can think of what to say first and I learned how to defend myself physically, but I just don't know how to respond in these kinds of situations.

Worst kind of bullying is the passive aggressive kind because it's hardest to know how to respond. I get so sick of people and their stupid social hierarchy games. I mean, I wouldn't want to do that to someone, esecially knowing how bad it is. I get discriminated against almost every day. And I hate that I'm so helpless. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it. :x
