Its the same guy that wouldnt leave me alone when I asked. He left a note on my door saying I slam the door too loud in the middle of the night. The kid down the hall has a note saying' remember to be quiter with the door' so he must have complained to him as well. I really didnt think I was being to loud. I thought his door was too thick to hear me but I guess not. When my window is opened it causes the air to push the door shut with a slam. I cant help it sometimes. Ill be quiter with the door but im worried Ill forget. Im a night owl by nature so changing my sleeping schedule wont work. What a pain in the ass. Just when I was starting to get comfortable.

This makes me want to move into a group home. Im worried I would hate living in a group home. Does anyone know anything about group homes?

I like living where I am now mostly. There are some things that would make living in a group home better. It would probably be cleaner and I might not have to cook! But yeah I can see this door thing being a problem. The open window pushes the air to make it slam. Im worried I wont catch the door and it will slam and ill get in trouble again. Oh what a pain in the ass.

Maybe just stick a wedge under the door to stop it automatically slamming when the window is open, if it's that much of a problem for this guy?

Your neighbor being upset with you and leaving a note is not the same as you getting in trouble. Anyway, you shouldn't really leave the window open while you are gone. Someone could break in.

The window is too high up for someone to break in. Not sure if a wedge would work. Ill just have to be careful.

Just try not the slam the door. I think that's the only solution to this.

A wedge would definitely work. Get one of the rubber ones, not a wood one.

Sometimes things seem impossible, but if you just focus on the practical aspects of your immediate problem, you can be surprised how much easier your life gets.
