Yup, active noise cancelling headphones if you can afford them, or if not, earplugs with the highest SNR rating you can, and block the noise out. Silicone I find good because it can be molded to you easily and creates a much better seal around the outer ears than foam. If your workplace lets people listen to music so loud they can't hear anything else outside that music, then they can't complain about you making yourself virtually deaf in your hearing protection.
I have misophonia so know all about others reacting as if you're trying to be difficult when you can't stand a noise they can't even hear. That's just ignorance - people automatically assume everyone is the same as them, and don't realize how loud and overwhelming this is to you. All you can do is compensate in ways that take the noise down to levels bearable for you.
