Come to the coast. No sun. High fog. Cool temperatures. Light mist or drizzle all summer long. Temperature at the window right now is about 58 degrees. At 8:34 am.
All summer long is sweatshirt and pants weather.
There is some sun in spring and autumn, that's when it can be "hot", like a blistering 75 degrees.
Not close to the coast?
Everyone has night. No matter where you live. Go for walks in the night, learn about the constellations and astronomy. There are often events if you have some kind of observatory nearby, and of course, they take place at NIGHT.
That gives you someplace to go, something to do when you get there. You might get to hear a lecture. And then take turns at looking at whatever the thing is pointed at in the sky. And maybe make friends with other night people to go for a walk with and look at stars.
