I had multiple packages taken from me this month including a secret Santa gift I was sent. They were all confirmed they were delivered but some of my orders showed up as being delivered to no such town, Washington while the rest say they were delivered to my door and no signature requested.I was upset all night and crying and only got three hours of sleep because of it. Now I feel I am being watched because how else would someone know I have them on my door step? We live behind bushes and it's hard to get to our front door because of the bushes and it's hard to park in front of our house due to no parking and you would have to park further down to park on the side of the road and our driveway is narrow it can only fit one car at a time going in and out.

My husband thinks it's all a coincidence and different people probably took them and because the leaves are off our bushes, they can see our front door easier so they probably came and took it. But yet I still feel scared and decided I am going to use local Fed Ex places and UPS and post offices and Amazon locker and do signature packages. My husband doesn't see it as a big deal because he says it's all normal and it happens to everyone and he has had lot of stuff taken when he was a kid so why do I think he doesn't have lot of stuff?

I filed a police report on package theft.

That absolutely sucks, League Girl.

It's unfortunate you have crappy neighbors like that.

Could you make a claim with Amazon for loss?

Only my match can call them to get it redelivered to my home.

My be the delivery person stealing it
One guy had thousands of dollars of silver delivered and the post person forged his signature and stole the box. He had a writing expert compare handwriting of the signature to the post persons and the post office admitted it happen and asked he doesn’t press charges against her. She wa a subsitute for his normal mail carrier. I’ve been paying $4 for signature for my packages.
We have a gate but ups sometimes just drops it off in the driveway or throws it over the fence rather then taking it up to the door.

My grandm got a laptop from my cousin but since he lives in Washington he mailed it and they delivered it to the wrong apartment after giving up finding hers. The people there opened and we’re going keep it til we had police go get it. Had to have manufacturer wipe and reset it since they’d password protected it :(

Another sad story that got in news last year was ups put the package in a lady’s trash can on trash day. Oh and another where they rand over a persons dog and just left it.

I like online shopping so I don’t go out but the delivery makes me super anxious and stressed until I have it in my hands
I’d be crying if someone stole my packages too
Hugs

I "Buy Local" from local merchants as often as I can. It helps my community and my state, and it benefits brick-and-mortar businesses who don't just toss my purchase in the general vicinity of my front door.

Go old-school. Be smart. "Buy Local!"

That is awful. Why do people have to do that sort of thing? A real-life Grinch, stealing people's presents :(
