Its bad enough that I use a plastic kettle every day. Id like to buy Wong Wing chicken but it says you have to nuke it in a plastic package. Id like to do without the plastic packaging and just nuke it. I read that microwave safe plastic can still leach BPA, a toxic chemicle. No where did I see on the box of Wong Wing that the chicken is raw, so Id like to cook it without the plastic packaging. Its probably just there to keep the sauce moist.

I think I should also just use the microwave to heat up water instead of the plastic kettle, just to be on the safe side.

I think Ill just take the plastic off. It will probably take longer to cook.

As for the plastic kettle thing, it will be less convenient to use the microwave or a stainless steal kettle but all well.

If it says “microwave safe,” I’m pretty confident that it is safe to use the microwave with whatever is deemed “microwave safe.”
