We moved to the other uncle's house and a week later there is a total failure of his water well. We have almost no money and we've been struggling to get to town to get enough water for three people and four dogs because of the snow and my car is acting up...

Now another relative is offering to take us in because of the water emergency and he claims he would make sure my car was fixed and my other uncle was ok... But this is the same uncle that in the past just likes to scam us!! ! My husband and I don't know what to do... In the meantime I feel like my life is just falling apart again...

Would it be quite costly to fix the broken water well?

Maybe the only thing you can do is suffer untill you get your own place. Going back to the scamming uncle seems like a bad idea. Isnt there a neighbor you can get water from?

My uncle's landlord had the well fixed today so we have all utilities again so yeah, my uncle here says it would have been a mistake to go back to his brother. But seriously this depression over common things like me being devistated over things like that might mean my meds need to be adjusted.

I wouldn't sell yourself short. It sounds like you were in a tough situation that could make you get a feeling of hopelessness. I'm not saying it's good to be depressed over it, but I don't think it was this huge overreaction either. I'm glad things got resolved. Are you feeling any better?

Yeah, I went for several days without even brushing my hair but this morning taking a hot bath and combing it out and stuff makes me feel better.

That feeling of being clean and presentable can make a big difference. When you can't use the water in your home, you don't feel like you can go out and interact with people and so I'd imagine you were staying away from society more often than you normally would. Actually, that would make just about anybody depressed. Heath Ledger, who played the Joker in Batman purposely kept himself secluded in his home for a couple of months to prepare for the role. It certainly make him effective in his role, but it really *did* make him experience depression and even paranoia.

Glad you feel better now. I hope things go more smoothly for you.
