I myself would like to save little on the heat bill so have been taking the rock out of the main door to let the heat build up. Maybe some weirdos here want constant cold but they can move out IDK. Basically just frusteratating me and my boyfriend can make the heat bill but it is likely so much higher than it should be because of idiots living here. I mean they even have a strict enforced code of not smoking so me and my boyfriend have had to go outside to smoke weed so people don't complain about it being out our front door...and people cant even close the main entrance door overnight? I mean I sneak out and close it at like one in the morning if its still open but seroiusly close the goddamn door, its cold out everyone does not wan their apartment freezed up because you lost your key and wont pay up the 20 bucks to get a new one.

But yeah when people prop the door open over-night all the cold air comes straight into me and my boyfriend apartment so its really unpleasant probably more unpleasant than what the person who complained about us smoking weed experiences. We have a bottom apartment so all the cold air people let in comes here. Plus they overflowed their sink which rained down in me and my boyfriends apartment...don't like to wish hard times but I kind of hope these idiots get kicked out.....if they cant even turn their water off and act like humans when they clog something then WTF. I don't want to risk keeping my things under this roof if peole above us are going to leak ongoingly. Sure this was just one time but what about next time he leaves his weird wife and kid up there for them to overflow stuff and leak over....cause apparently they don't care about that s**t, with all their lights out every night while they stomp around can't imagine it is good for the child they have.

Bravo! It's not just cold you don't want coming in. A propped open front door could let any sort of crazy in. I'm glad you've stood up for yourself.

Well that has been the issue someone complained about the outside o me and my boyfriends aparment smelling like weed...so its sine then we have been going outside to smoke seems stupid because it is legal but we need a place to live and already put money down here....we just didn't know they'd be such sticklers about weed smell. As for standing up the most I have done is scrape the broom on the ceiling to hopefully annoy the people above. But I really want to go up and tell them to drain their sink properly and not leak into me and my boyfriends apartment...like regardless of who you are hiding up there turn your water off......f**k.

I mean maybe there is just a kid...or a kid and a mom, IDK I just know there are people stomping around up there and when my Boyfriend confronted him about his apartment leaking into ours he said he got home and sinks were backed up while sort of acting like he was the only one living there...well I constantly here stomping and running around up there during the hours this guy is 'gone' so I suspect hes got some not so legal residents living there...or something they also keep all their lights off at night while still stomping around as far as I can tell. I wouldn't care as much if they had maybe admitted having left the water on in their place which wold have been a good explanation for the maintenence guys who had to assess the problem and see where the leak was from....could have saved them trouble if the idiots upstairs would have just admitted they accidently let their sink overflow...but no those poor guys had to spend like an hour trying to figure out what went wrong only to conclude that is what happened.....when it was just the idiots upstairs letting their s**t overflow.

Maybe it would help to have a chat with them next time you bump into them. And tell them why you have the weed. Years ago I lived in an apartment and it did bug me sometimes my neighbour downstairs was smoking it. The smell could knock me sick. Mind you, this is illegal strain i'm talking about. It was probably a stronger strain than you have. My mother would explain to me though that this neighbour had difficulties breathing and it reminded me why I needed to be understanding. I sometimes would forget how he had told me stuff about his medical issues because sometimes we just place people in boxes and people can place weed smokers in a "delinquent" box. So they might associate it with potential trouble.

But maybe if you calmly explain it is for problems of a medical nature (without going into detail and making yourself vulnerable) you could possibly get them to be more tolerant and even accept it. Because I know it is legal in Colorado but attitudes take time to change and I imagine lots of people there still see weed as not a good thing, due to ignorance probably.
