Long complicated story, but my husband and I are are moving from a four bedroom house (been here seven years, collected a lot of junk) to a one bedroom tiny apartment. It is total chaos because I am so unorganized. We are moving ourselves because we can’t afford movers and we have no friends to help us. (we are both 65, too old IMHO to be doing this ourselves) My husband is going to put his bed in the living room of the apartment because he knows I can’t sleep in the same room with anyone else. There seems to be no end in site to the piles of junk and packing. This will be the smallest place we have ever lived and a lot of stuff is going into storage. Thanks for letting me vent. I realize this is petty compare to the larger scale of things in the world like school shootings and volcanoes destroying homes. But I’m at the point of not being able to cope anymore. Three dogs and two cats are moving with us because we have no kids and the animals are our family. How we are going to manage in the tiny apartment, I have no idea. I think I may just stay in bed all day, which I know won’t help the situation, but I need some sort of time out from all this. Thanks for listening.
