I have been having infinite issues with my teeth these past few months, and just when I thought I'd seen the light of the tunnel, turns out one of the root canals I got was botched and they can't put a temporary crown on it. I need to vent to someone I know but nobody's responding to me. I've been on the edge of a meltdown for the past few weeks because of my super heavy workload this semester and the super heavy workload that is the house I live in. The dental problems on top of that and the fact that I'm studying abroad in a few days and have to get ready for that... everything is too much! I feel bone tired even with 8-9 hours of sleep, not that anyone lets me sleep that long to begin with. I feel like I'm letting myself down by showing weakness, but at the same time I feel like it's deeply unfair that I've been expected to deal with this much crap for this long, but then I get mad at myself for being so childish that I would believe that there was such thing as fairness in the world. Everybody's mad at me because I can't give 100% on everything I do because I'm spread too thin.
Oh and I did have a meltdown earlier. I threw my phone at a wall and now I need to pay for a replacement with all the money I have left in my bank account. But even after that meltdown I felt on the verge of another one and I feel like I'm gonna do something I REALLY regret. How do I deal with things like a functioning person without relying on others for help? I don't see any way to do that other than retreating into my fictional worlds like I did when I was a kid.

Sorry about your dental issues. I've experienced this sort of thing myself. It's not pleasant.

New Zealand has much, much natural beauty.

You, too, with teeth troubles? But at such a young age! It's really terrible and you deserve better. Are you sure of your dentist? I'm trying to get another dentist but they always start with that huge roundabout x-ray that I can't afford.
My best wishes for all of your health; may peace and rest reside with you.

Good luck getting your tooth fixed. For future maintenance I have this tip.

A lot of it relates to acid. If the diet is too acidic that can cause many problems. That's why I brush my teeth and gums with baking soda, a natural alkaline that comes from mineral spring water, which counteracts the acid.

You sound really stressed out. I hope you find peace and calm.

Get your immunoglobin levels checked out, rats and cats. Low levels can sometimes be the underlying cause of multiple dental problems such as you are experiencing. It is a simple blood test.

My adult teeth came in prematurely so some of my molars are 80% filling and they broke because they were too brittle. So I needed root canals. I have a very good dentist and I usually brush regularly, though flossing is an issue because of my hypersensitivity to touch. I just drew the genetic short straw when it comes to teeth.

Sounds like we have similar issues with teeth. I had a lot of root canals - thank heaven you're getting the modern ones. What age is 'prematurely'?
