I have someone from mental health help me out sometimes. Unfortunately she sometimes tries to persuade me into things I dont wanna do. Like get my own phone or volunteer. In the new year I will be joining a program called the Ark. Its a place where people with disabilities do paintings and wood workings and sell them. I dont think Ill meet anyone cool. Im really nervous to go because Im afraid of new unfamiliar things. To be honest I dont want to go. I dont like getting up early so Im not sure how long Ill be there anyway. I guess its worth trying out. Ill do a painting or two.

But yeah Im totally happy with not helping anyone. I dont want to work I dont want to volunteer. I worry about my future in a group home because they might want me to cook. They will definitly want me to clean. I worry about stuff like that because I like wearing nice clothes. I have a passion for fashion you could say.

Im happy doing nothing.

I think it will be worth you giving it a go, you can just quit if it becomes too much.
It takes a lot to coax me out of my comfort zone, which probably has to do with the way I was born, they had to drag me out with forceps. I'd always prefer to do nothing because just thinking about the alternative feels painful and I want to shut down to survive.

I think part of your problem is you don't have anything to do (i.e. no job or volunteer position or other activity to go to every day that gets you out of the house) so you get anxious and depressed. Sometimes you have to go outside of your comfort zone in order to feel better. Doing nothing all day every day is bound to make anyone depressed and anxious after a while.
