Just going to post a few statements to clear up some misunderstandings...

I no longer care if anyone else has a boyfriend or girlfriend. This does NOT mean that I don’t want them to have a boyfriend or girlfriend. It just means that I no longer care.

I am NOT an atheist, I just don’t like religion.

While I identify as a Christian, it does not mean that I am or ever will be a perfect Christian.

If you ask for my advice, don’t tell me afterward that I’m being mean to you. Advice is often painful to take, as most of it requires making uncomfortable changes and taking unpleasant risks.

I feel no contempt for people with problems. People who wallow in their misery, blame others for it, refuse to help themselves, and then attack and insult those who try to help are a completely different matter.

The medicine often tastes awful, but the results are why the medicine is taken after all, not the flavor.

Thanks, but now I'm expecting some lame "Flies & Vinegar" homily or a link to some obscure show tune from "Mary Poppins".

Well, if that's what you're expecting...

That’s a North American Robin she’s holding! English ones are smaller and rounder.

But which flies faster while carrying a coconut in its beak?

Sounds like a choice between "It's not me it's them" or "it's me not them". Or perhaps a little of both.
