I’m at my parents right now. I find it uncomfortable here sleeping in their basement. Only been getting 6 hours of sleep. I’m the type of person that needs 8 to 10 hours. At the rooming house where I’m supposed to live I had to call the cops on a woman because she had become mentally unstable. She threatened to kill me, when I said I would call the cops, if she didn’t stop with the death threats. They took her to the mental hospital. Not sure when she’ll be back. There is also a crazy guy there, that has been leaving offensive notes on my kitchen cupboard door and he throws out my food. I don’t feel safe there. At all. But at least I could sleep good there. What should I do? Also, my mom works in the public every day with her retail job so that could put me at higher risk of getting Coronavirus. But at my rooming house they don’t wash their hands hardly ever. Most of the bathrooms don’t even have soap. Where should I stay? Social assistance said I’m only allowed to stay at one place.

I would say, at this point, it’s better staying with your parents for now.

Maybe move back a month from now.

It sounds to me as thought you would be safer at your parents even if its harder to get a good nights sleep there. Its good to have people that you trust around you at a time like this in my opinion.

^ This. Besides, is it that bad if you temporarily lose some sleep? You'll be more tired, but since you don't work and can't go anywhere to hang out or do any hobbies since everything's closed anyway (I assume), no damage will really be done. Just take it easy, perhaps take a nap during the day if you don't get enough sleep during the night.

I'd stay at your parents if I were you until this is over.
