I used to listen to Terence Mckenna. One of his main theorys was that human consciousness came from psychadelics. That we are only half human without them. I know I always feel like crap except after Ive smoked weed. The feelings of happyness from smoking weed, for me, lasts several months. Then I start feeling like crap and also disasociating from everything again. It is a terrible feeling that I need to rely on pot to be human. Someday I will be in a group home and we wont be allowe to smoke pot. At least I think thats what the rule will be. So I will be depressed all the time. At least I am getting my medication lowerd. It will make me lose weight. But I dont know it will make me less depressed. It runs in my family.

On that link you can find clinics with medical doctors who prescribe you a medical cannabis authorization. Most clinics allow self referral so you dont need to worry about any of your doctors obstructing your access. You just need to get a copy of your medical records from your doctor and send to the clinic for documentation of your illness you wish to treat with cannabis. A medical cannabis prescription gives you immunity to consume in public anywhere you can smoke tobacco and no one can do anything about it. The group home wouldnt be able to deny you access to it either. It is also cheaper than legal recreational weed and you can get compassionate pricing if you are poor or on disability. You can also claim it on your taxes($400 max for those on disability).

We had a medical marijuana clinic in my town but it burned down and hasnt re opend. I will check out the link you gave me.

I don't think Mckenna is right with this theory, I think he just had too much DMT.
Hope you'll find a way to keep smoking, though.
