So I really want to watch this children's show I used to watch as a child (I won't say what it is), and there are over 30 episodes per season, and quite a few seasons. But I just cannot find it anywhere on the internet. I scrolled about on YouTube and found a playlist of the first season, but demanded I pay £8 to watch, so I thought that was pretty good for 30+ classic episodes. But after I had purchased it, I found there was only 5 episodes in the playlist. I felt ripped off as well as disappointed.

This particular show has not released many DVDs, only a few with a few episodes on, so I can't even buy a box set on Amazon or anything. It's just impossible to get any sort of access to watch some of our old favourites. I'm willing to just pay to download all the full seasons online, without being ripped off, but can't even do that. And no, I don't have Netflix.

Rant over.

Perhaps there's a chance you could pirate it. I've gotten TV shows that way that I couldn't get anywhere else. The older ones are usually VCR rips that someone put out so the quality isn't the best. I don't feel any guilt because there's no other way to get or view them so the people who own the rights to the show are not losing any money at all.

But if they're not anywhere on the internet, how do I watch the pirated ones?

Oh, and thank you for replying by the way. I was wondering when someone would reply.

What show is it? Have you searched if its on UK netflix? There are torrent sites but if the show is obscure or not a show that typically people who upload torrents watch then it won't likely be on torrent websites either. To view any pirated content you would need a VPN subscription in order to hide your IP so you arent harrassed with copyright violations letters.

In Canada you can pretty much ignore those letters. I've gotten them before, but they've never cut off my internet access or anything. That said, a VPN is a good idea from a security standpoint.

In some cases they actually do sue. VPN eliminates any risk of this.

I guess I've been lucky then. It probably helps that I don't usually torrent big name TV series or movies.

We never seem to get hassle in the UK and what we do is we use my stepdad's x unity box mostly. It's a faff but once you get the knack of it, it's rare that someone hasn't uploaded a show somewhere onto it.
