I was taking two kinds of psychiatric meds. now doctor prescribed another one

Should i take it

Get a second opinion? Is that an option?

Also check labels about side effects and medication interactions and discuss them with your doctor. Three sounds like an awful lot to be taking.

I’m on four different ones. One of them is for sleep, though. I’m weaning myself down to a lower dosage. Three isn’t all that unusual, but if you’re concerned, talk to your doctor about it.

Even one psychotropic medication is enough to screw you up for life, In my not sh humble opinion. To me, psychiatrists are nothing more than glorified, legalize dope pushers. The last psychiatrist I saw, almost 5 years ago did nothing but push the latest mind altering drug on me as his guinea pig. And people wonder why I don’t trust psychiatrists!

You have to do what is correct for you


Anyways I have been on Prozac, propranolol, effexor, Ativan.


Zoloft is in my desk. But I keep postponing taking it because of side effects
