Last night especially, I was feeling agitated that the summer heat hasn’t slowed the virus like it should’ve and especially the borders didn’t close down until long after they should’ve so that the virus stays in China! I’m agitated about all the types of hardships people have had to deal with because of that and the potential long term affects of it for at least some people. I’m worried about the possibility of a vaccine taking longer/not being as successful as we all believe. The efforts of all those organizations making the vaccines better be as quick and successful as we all hope!

While I’m at it, my flight from Florida back to Iowa, which is 5 weeks from now, got cancelled without any clear explanation that I’m aware of, leaving my dad to book another flight. That was quite the annoyance for me today.

Us people are not equipped to live like this.

Sorry to hear your flight was cancelled. Hope you make it back to Iowa safe and sound, and that when you're back home, among family and friends, neighbours etc you can all help each other out and that it makes you feel alot better. The world is in a state right now. Caring and reaching out to people who need help is one thing we can do to make life a little better, and remind us that little things can make a difference. Strangers are now smiling and saying "Hi" to one another here now, and people have really pulled together to help each other out. It's natural and good that you care, but don't forget to find ways to keep your spirits up too.
