How come you have to get a colonoscopy, anyway?
I didn’t get my first one until I was 53.
In my case, cancer runs on Dad’s side of the family, along with autism. It’s been over 40 years that the oncologist diagnosed Dad with colon cancer. While he was operated on to have that mass removed from his colon, it metastised into his liver, which took his life 2 weeks before his 51st birthday, 34 years ago.
He’s not the only one in the family that dealt with cancer. His 2 youngest brothers have dealt with cancer, With his youngest brother, the cowboy, being recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
I"m sorry to hear that about your father
Apart from one suicide, everyone who's ever died in my family has died from cancer. Likely 20 people that we know of.
It's pretty much a given that it's in my family's genes somewhere, along with autism.
