Does anyone want me to stay?

I honestly want to break away from this place due to my past failures haunting me here but does anyone here want me to stay? There are also some people I want to say bye to if I really do go but they won’t respond to me and I feel despondent about that.

Many of us will miss you. If you feel you need a fresh start its ok. All is good.

Do not look to failures. Put the past behind you. You are living now. All is ok.

The future... Do whatever sems right to you. It will be nice if you keep in touch.

This site is made for you in that you are on the spectrum and you can share your experiences.

We all have different experiences so we can all share. In life, if you can find happiness, go for it. If you can find love even better.

Life is not always easy. Taking a break if you need it is good as it refreshes you.

Has anyone else brought up your past (failures, successes or otherwise)? No one wants to rub those things in your face since we all have our own painful failures to worry about.

I'd prefer for you to continue participating, so long as you don't mind.

I want you to stay, I feel too many people have been leaving this place.

Since you and I are both on Autism Forums, I’m okay with you doing whatever you feel is best regarding WP. I often don’t know what to say when I read your threads and posts, but I keep an eye on how you’re doing and wish you well.

WP, ‘The Haven’ in particular, was created to give us, ALL autistics and Aspergergians, a place to bring our unhappiness and need for friends, for advice, for sympathy.
Every regular poster here on The Haven has complained and shared and exposed new or old sorrows or failures or regrets to ask for understanding from the only people who CAN understand us....

If you are not comfortable here, then The Haven is not helping your unhappiness.
If the sincere concern of people you’ve been friends with for some time does make a difference for the better, then please stay.

I just wish the people who I want to wish me well would do so. I would be able to move on if they did.

If you want to, you can also take a temporary leave of absence from here and see how that goes, or stop posting here but check in with specific people by PM, or probably other options I haven’t thought of right now. It doesn’t necessarily have to be all or nothing.

I hope you don't leave permanently. We've already lost many good members. But if you need to take a break from here, that's understandable. I need many breaks from things these days.

I'd be pretty bummed out if you disappeared. I think too much of our western culture is about "moving on" & other such platitudes which may or may not actually serve us well in reality. It seems to me people like us need to consciously look outside the real of conventional lifestyles to actualize the kind of inner peace we're looking for.

IMHO you post a lot of good threads these days, I too have had the experience of my online ramblings actually helping somebody before I realized any kind of positive change on my part as a result.

I have no desire to see you leave.

If you have gotten into fights with others on WP then its likely those others share the blame.

Those on WP who have witnessed these fights probably dont hold it against you.

And most WP members, are like me, and barely your name, have rarely interacted with you, and therefore dont have any animus towards you either.

The very fact that you obsess about this shows that you could benifit from staying on the site.
