I was a good coder but couldn't hack the process of selling oneself to the world of work. I've completely dropped out of life and spend most of my time camping out in the middle of nowhere chasing silly pursuits like free solo rock climbing, mtbiking, finding crazy remote areas, etc.
At some point my body is going to give out and I'll have nothing to live for. It seems inevitable at this point.
Sometimes, people with autism need to take a break of a few years. Then they can come back to the fray and be more successful.
So instead of planning to give up... Plan to try again when you feel ready.
