Negative numbers are coming into next week negative 23 (only negative 1. Tonight ) ... never been this cold
Before , I hope the heater and blankets will be adequate to deal with this . If I have to will sit in a warm bath or shower ? Temperature numbers are courtesy of local news . And my yard thermometer , these temperatures do not include wind effects.

Unprecedented freeze here too Jakki. -23C is severe ... will be checking in on you here and will keep the hot chocolate flowing for you. X

It’s going to be very cold in your area for a while. Sometimes below zero Fahrenheit. Never above 15 Fahrenheit.

Minus 23 Celsius, rather than Minus 23 Fahrenheit. Still quite cold, though.

You should run the water in your faucet at a trickle, so your pipes don’t freeze (like somebody else pointed out).

The heater is working hard . Sort of a chronic chill in the air . Am figuring can always help myself with a warm bath or shower . Just had to go out to pay overdue bill . And thought had already paid it , and got very cold being outside
Inbetween car and offices or store . For just a few moments .

Watch them blame it on global warming!

It feels like global warming.... international warming whatever is suppose to be warm but it’s not warm ...

Looks like the harshness has hit here too.
I am not going to our local creative writers group meeting this morning.
Since my decision is already made I haven't looked to see if it might be canceled or not.
Am staying home, staying inside, working on model trains, playing with my cats.

We've hit a cold snap too, though it's not nearly as cold as yours. Wearing layers definitely helps. Brrr. Stay warm!
