Im shopping in Minneapolis, left my favorite cheat day restaurant Five Guys, and I see a group of teens hitting on a woman by whistling at her and making dirty comments about her and from my perspective she looked uncomfortable. It looked like they were catcalling her and I thought that was inappropriate so I asked the woman if she's doing ok, and one of the teens told me to mind my own business. I told the guy to shut up.

Big mistake for a guy already in recovery, in a wheelchair, and whose left arm is fractured from a metacarpal tunnel injury.

A couple of heated words and exchanges later I told the group that real men dont harass women in gangs and that they're nothing more than a group of lowlife thugs who should get a job and get off the street.

Next thing you know I get socked in the eye, knocked unconscious, and I wake up in an ambulance with a massive ice pack cooling my eye and now a black eye.

I cant wait to get out of Minneapolis and go back to Duluth.

Literally this city is self imploding with crime and its more and more unsafe by the minute

Yikes! I'm very sorry to hear this. I hope you can manage to get to Duluth soon.

You need to learn some "street smarts." That black eye was predictable, and it could have been worse.

Meanwhile ... how many times have you been concussed? Will power does not overcome post-concussive syndrome or chronic traumatic encephalopathy. Nothing overcomes it, only rest, and prevention. (If you are newly concussed, no gym record-breaking for a while - please.)

I'm sorry you're hurting today. Take care.
