These days I seem to be exhausted all the time. I wanted to go to the gym today but I'm too tired. I have a simple video that needs editing, but I'm too tired to concentrate on a computer.

Etc, etc, etc.

There was a time when I wasn't knackered all the time. I keep reminiscing about said time.

I highly recommend asking your dr to check your thyroid and iron levels. Quick, easy, and super correctable. Iron tablets changed my life.

Have you taken the PhQ-9? It could be depression......<3

I have suffered from depression since 2006 so it is likely down to that.

I'm pleased to say I had a good nights sleep last night. I was hoping to go out today but its forecast rain :(.

I wanted to try an iron supplement but have had difficulty taking iron in the past. I was anemic once while pregnant many years ago.
If you don’t mind my asking, what sort of tablets do you use?

I have these issues during times of depression (unless it's a very weird form of depression with excessive ruminations which make my mind hyperactive day and night). Though it's not all the time. It's basically in a specific time window during the day. Taking a nap for 30-60 minutes helps in my case.

If you're not used to taking short naps, always set an alarm before taking the nap. So you don't sleep too long. When you're used to it, you don't need the alarm anymore.

Beady, they are just 325 mg ferrous sulfate. Once a day - with water and food because they bother my stomach. You do have to pay attention to the food because somethings inhibit iron absorption. I am taking naturemade brand, but I don’t think that matters.

Sometimes, one has to take a “hard line” with one’s self.

I get stuck in a rut A LOT. I sometimes have to give myself a good kick in the butt…and sometimes that doesn’t even work.

I’m a lazy screwup….so I know.

(Not saying you are. For all I know, you are making much more of an effort than I ever do).

I'm inclined to agree, I do sometimes put the effort in to go to the gym or the shops etc, but its pot luck as to whether I manage. Sometimes it will really perk me up, others I remain far too tired.
