This is sorta dumb, but I lost my glasses the other night, and i am so fixated upon finding them that it is all I can think about. I have been in the most rotten mood, and it is not going to go away until I find them.
I am going stinking crazy...

Did you check your face? :P
Seriously, when I was in kindergarden I had my backpack on my back and I was looking for it everywhere in the classroom and no one told me about it until I started crying  Plus Ive looked for things for hours until I realised that it was in my pocket or something

yeah...i have done stuff like that plenty of times, and ususally i have a really good knack for finding things...unfortunatly right now, my spidy sense is not tingling at all, which is making things all the worse.
It's been about two days..I thought they were where I always put them....but they are not there. I am going insane. i have looked everywhere.

Try taking a nap and then looking around right after you wake up. It's worked for me several times, and even if it doesn't - you got a little bit of sleep :D

Or sometimes I check the most random spot I can possibly imagine. Today I found my glasses under my backpack...

My mother has looked for clothes that she was wearing before, and stuff that was in her hand.

I can't do anything without corrective lenses. Even things that I logically should be able to do. . .

The annoying thing about loosing your glasses is that you need your glasses in order to look for them.

I don't really mind it if I lose or forget to wear mine (I rarely lose things though); I cannot see people then, and that's cool.

I don't wear mine for that reason, that I don't particularly want to see people. I find it easier to be out and about when I can't see people very clearly. I have to wear them when I'm driving though, or I'd kill someone. Think Mr Magoo.

Hope you find them soon poopylungstuffing, it's really annoying when you lose something and can't find it.

At home there are only two places and times that I remove my glasses,
In the bedroom when it is time to sleep, and the bathroom when it is shower time.
In each of these rooms I set up a designated place for my glasses so I don't lose them.
If I lose my glasses I pretty much lose everything.

I Lost my glasses recently and i am blind without them. I went to bed and then they was not on their place to be. Night after I wake up and remembers where I put them. Due to me scheduled to wet-scrub the floors I put them on a bureau edge. And without my glasses I am practicaly blind...

I've lost my glasses ONCE in 30 years, and it was a crazy darn accident! Was out fishing when a sudden wind dust blow them off and they fell into the lake. I was so pissed....

Yaaay! Just so happens a housemate found them. They were on the floor under a pile of clothes next to the unused cat tower that I partially use as a closet. No wonder I lost them.

It was on a busy stressful night. I have no idea why I might have taken them off there....maybe I was changing into to my nightgown and took them off my face to do so.

The whole time they were lost I had this slight memory/flashback of hearing something light (like my glasses) drop in the dark and thinking to myself that it was something important..but then not pursuing it (short attention span)
....but I didn;t know where I was when it happened.

As i have already mentioned..I usually have a great visual memory for locating lost objects, and that's why not being able to find them was so excruciating.
