Recently a poster labelled me as a "creep" in regards to why women dont want anything to do with me.

Judging from my past posts on wrong planet do you think I deserve to be labbelled that?

This is The Haven. I doubt that you will get an honest answer to that question here from everyone.

Based on past posts, I'd say that you certainly seem to engage in inappropriate, creepy behavior sometimes.

I'm not in the mood to go through your posting history. If I was in the mood to read something sensational, I'd rummage through old PMs.

Off the top of my head, there's getting kicked out of bars, general inappropriate behavior toward women like staring at them, making women and/or their partners uncomfortable, having a weird attitude towards them, stuff like that.

You left out being fixated on height, weight, and overall appearances.

The OP would likely get more honest and direct answer from any women who may or may not have 'creepzoned' him.

This is The Haven, after all.

Sometimes staring for to long is just part of having aspergers.

Staring for too long is always both rude and creepy.

We've covered this many times before. If you are aware of the behavior, you can change it. If you are only staring at women, I suspect that there are reasons which extend beyond autism.

Don't use autism as an excuse for creepy, inappropriate behavior.

I can use it as an excuse since we behave differently to NTS obviously. It’s just the way our brains are wired.

It’s very hard to change something which does not come naturally to you. However I do agree I have not got a great attitude towards women.

People can and do make excuses for themselves. It doesn't mean that those excuses are valid. As I've already stated, people can change their behavior when they are aware of it. Perhaps you are looking for a reason to continue to engage in the creepy behavior. Hmmm...

I don't think you're a creep. You just seem quite socially clueless even though you spend a lot of your time in these pubs.

I think some of the people you hang out with sound like creeps.

Honest answer… people on this forum don’t really know you. But they can form views based upon the information you tell us. I tend to agree with Joe90. In my 30s I went through a period where I hung around with creeps.

I do think though a certain user (can’t mention his name) calling me a creep shows a lack of empathy because ‘creeps’ don’t always have good lives. I think we should try and help creepy guys not critic them so much for things they can’t always help since they may have underlying mental health problems.

I'm not saying that you are a creep although your behavior is questionable at times. With that being said, I will say that I don't waste empathy on creeps. I've done far too much of that already. My empathy extends to people who, even if they've had a difficult life for whatever reason, still treat others decently.

By Questionable do you mean having a funny attitude towards women? Remember women are not always very nice towards autistic guys so perhaps there is a bit of built up resentment there and nor do we have much success with the opposite sex.
