Feel bad for not ''over indulging''

Hearing about other people younger than me going out, partying, drinking and so on, makes me feel like I've wasted the one life I have because I didn't get drunk and only had one drink on occasion if I went out with family. I am aware that too much to drink is bad for health and yet I feel bad because its as I am allowing the anxiety to worry me about having more than one drink, or eating too much chocolate etc as though I may tomorrow end up being diagnosed with a terrible health condition and don't want it to happen and everyone else is going about their lives eating and drinking whatever they want without a care or worry in the world that they might get ill or die and I feel like the only one. People say ''Oh you only live once'' and ''life is too short'' and I seem to think how come I am feeling this way and it seems like other people aren't ? That may sound ridiculous but that's how it feels to me.

You should be glad you don't overindulge. Especially with alcohol which is very bad for your health.

I don't think that people do go about without a care in the world. A lot of people over indulge in certain behaviours because they're trying to forget about all their worries, not because they have no worries.

Nobody has ever lain on their deathbed and said, "I should have drank more."

Have you done, and are you doing, what YOU want to?

If so, you're good. If not, then do something differently.

If you want to get very drunk, then get very drunk. Have that experience. If you don't, then don't and don't worry about having not done it.
