just heard another bus company is going to run a bus service thats the same as one my company runs and the bus i drive routinely

just for the sake of COMPETITION

what if it makes us lose passengers i dont think could bear it as its the bus i drive every day i work and it brings in alot of money into the company and we have always ran this service for decades

now what

i dont usually feel emotions like this but driving this bus on this route is a special interest of mine

I hate things like this that are out of your own control.


Let's hope it doesn't have too much of an impact on you.

Do your customers have passes that they can only use for your company or do they generally pay cash when they get on.

Can understand why you feel the way you do about it. I hope it doesn't impact things too much for you so you can keep driving your bus route.

i attended the union meeting and learnt there that the other bus shouldnt affect my bus and they are only running it because one of their other services is axed

im still a little bit meltdowny but i guess i will have to see what happens

Don't worry. You may find that eventually it will attract many more people in to use the bus as people see the increased services and will be more willing to view bus travel on thatroute as a viable proposition.
