Having aspergers and bad luck kept me behind in life.

I don't have any friends, girlfriend, job or anything. I was same like this 10 years ago or 15 years ago. But the problem is i couldnt find a way to grow up and be more active. Will be 26 in few months and desperately thinking of what i can do or i'm stuck forever? I dont really like being around people, but wanna do something, get my energy back. The worse thing is I'm very used to this and my parents also got used to this, not forcing me anymore to do anything because of my aspergers and mental health situation.

In few months i will go to the university for a second time and im almost sure that i will be alone and miss out on activities, new stuff, etc. Now there is not much going on in my life and that bothers me.

Anyways, this topic is a bit longer than old ones. What would you do in such situation and how would you handle all of this?

I think you need to challenge yourself. You need to force yourself to do things. You are capable of it. We all want to change and try to push ourselves, but it is a lot easier to think it rather than trying to do it.

It is difficult to leave our comfort zones and attempt to try something that may fail..but attempting something is a million times better than never trying. Maybe you can get into a club at university - if you like gaming, join a club there. Look and see how you can make social events work in your favor.

Second - do you want a job? if so, why haven't you applied for one, what part of your autism holds you back from it?

Is there a special interest you could study at the University?

This may be hard but maybe you could seek out an advisor at the University to help you study a special interest.

There may be some volunteer work you could do. Museums often need help cataloging or organizing stuff.
Some of us are really good at doing that sort of stuff.

It is easy doing nothing. You have Aspergers and mental health condition that makes you feel unmotivated and lack energy.

I think you need help with depression. If you feel better about yourself and life, people would want to befriend you too. You are still young and have the time to meet new people at college.

I had times without depression like today. Feeling good did not do me any favor about socialising.

Small challenges..at first..then after awhile ..a bigger challenge...and so on...OR. . . ..might hire a trainer. ?
that you have to pay for ? so your money investment..causes you to commit , otherwise you are just throwing money away...So if you start to commit , you might stick with it... it would get you used to moving around then??

Just a thought .. Best wishes with your goals !

If you feel good about yourself and are kind to people than i don't think there is anything to worry about. Some people have lots of friends despite not deserving them, some people don't despite the fact they are not bad people at all.
