There are times when I don't always like going into work because my manager who I have had now for 4 or 5 months. I seem to feel as though she tells you off even for standing behind the till even if you might be walking out of it. As I left earlier, she had a word with me in the office and explained how she doesn't appreciate it if you are looking at a book when I'm supposed to be watching out customers and not asking enough customers for assistance. Me and my colleague were told not to do anything else despite there being some delivery out the back but was told to leave until later even though we could have been busy doing something. She says she is firm but fair but I can't help but feel as though she reprimands or tells people off for the slightest of problems. I even seem to feel as though she can be patronising as though I don't know how to do something or know how something is done despite the years I've worked there.

I finished work and I did feel the need to kick something or throw something to get it out but I know I couldn't do that in public as I don't want to make myself look ridiculous and embarrassing in front of other people so I decided to bottle it up but I still feel quite angry and feel like bursting into tears.
