Feeling ghosted by people
Feeling extremely distressed
Things are at first going well after joining new group
Then every single time
I act like some kind of social pariah
They either
A. Respond supportively at first
Then they stop responding after a while
B. Ignore me entirely
And they talk to someone else
C. Tell me to go away
Or something more derogatory

Doesn't matter if this is a finances group, a Dungeons & Dragons group, a video game group, the "all-inclusive" workplace, school, or a supportive LGBTQ+ group - every single group treats me the same way.

I feel this way at work a lot these days. Despite the fact I am a good worker and do my best to pleasant, I still get treated like s--t at times.

This may sound weird or some sort of New Age stuff....but....Often this situation arises I think , in a simple way.
"You have not met your tribe yet".....and the drag is , you have to continually put yourself out there for additional hope of finding them. As disappointing as it may seem ,but I think it is part of the process . Had a tribe of two or three maybe
4 but as they sorted themselves out ,it got down to three ,Got these from my highschool But oddly enough, they did not seem friendly till after the last year of high school. Lost track of one and the other two died. 10 yrs later, Those three were in the gifted student program at high school.( but I did not hold that against them  ). I dodged that bullit !
high marks meant high expectations . Still purely by accident ended up with a straight A report card at graduation time.
Then, found another tribe. But no replacement for the first. Found them through a coffee haus ,Am struggling often to find a common thread with them. Seems people with common experiential levels, seem to be a better fit .
Btw , Welcome to Wrong Planet.
