I just can't seem to take care of myself ev n though it's what I want. I let my hair get knotted, I dont shower a lot. It's gotten to a point where my family thinks I need to live in a more supervised living situation to make sure I'm taking care of myself and staying on medications. I feel upset that I try really hard but it's never up to the standards it should be for my age.

With the specific health conditions that you have mentioned before, it may be the case that you will never achieve independence and will eventually have to live in a supervised living situation. Is that something you don't wish to tolerate?

Try not to be too hard on yourself Crystal

You have enough to deal with

I feel that.

There are strategies and stuff to help these things that work for people like us. Even then, it is harder for us to keep up with and very few people understand.
