I still don't feel 100% great. I wouldn't even go and drive all the way to Essex to pick up a new phone for my sister which my stepmum had bought her. She messaged me last night about coming round but I didn't message back because I didn't want to go around for a few days when my nan is moving with my uncle to Finland. I seem to think my dad and stepmum are frustrated and are thinking "what is going on with Chris?, how come he doesn't answer his phone and instead his mum answers?." At home I feel like because I've been quiet around people that it is an irritation to and thinking that because I didn't wash up last night that I am "lazy".

I think people might get annoyed because every other thread in the haven is by you saying 'poor me I'm getting left behind others and missing out'. If that bothers you get off your arse and do something about it.

As empathetic creatures humans often find other humans negative moods to be contagious. This (ironically) causes them to sometimes lash out at people they feel are causing them an emotional burden.

Who would imagine that people would get annoyed when you do not pick up or return calls, or do not do your personal household chores?

You just enjoy a good old moan mate and there's nothing wrong with that

If people get irritated by you then that's because that's just quite a normal human reaction people have when they feel like someone might not be a team player

Well, for some of the things, it's literally as simple as doing the thing you're feeling like you're missing out on.

Like, if you feel you've missed out on going to concerns, go to a concert.

I missed out on playing hockey as a kid, I could have moped about it but instead I signed up for men's league.

Sometimes one needs to leave their comfort zone in order to achieve desired goals or experiences.

I feel left behind or missing out because it feels as though people are doing it regardless of whether they want to or not just to be part of a tribe or so they don't regret themselves for not doing it.

I've never liked night clubs, I don't really drink much, I don't really want to work in a charity shop again, I've been on meetup and the things on there don't seem to interest me.

I've never even been up to London on my own or used the underground to get to places except with family. I went to a concert in Hyde park in 2010 but never gone back there. I wouldn't go to Glastonbury as that's near Cornwall and I live in Kent but I never have the interest to get on Google maps and follow a route there as I've never driven down that way and dissuades me from bothering to go there.

Why does it feel that way to you? I'd assume the people who don't want to do it and only do it for the reasons you describe wouldn't be likely to stick with it, so that most of them are probably doing it because they enjoy it to some extent.

I was thinking about this yesterday and my conclusion is that most people actually don't go clubbing because if most people did then the towns wouldn't be able to cope with the volume of people

So I'm thinking that a lot of people might try it once or twice or they might go out on special occasions but that's about it

Go watch a movie or something mate. The cinema is a great place to go if your stuck for something to do for a couple of hours in an evening or afternoon

I never get annoyed because someone is feeling low. Actually I get annoyed when someone is laughing too much and overly happy for no reason.
