Of the good things about having AS. Normally I can remember them, but right now all I feel is lonely and exhausted.

I'm sorry. Sometimes life is hard. Can you take a brief vacation and a long nap?

just to mention a few.
1. you have obsessions and an extreme knowledge at those points that catch your interest
2. you're different, and not like all those other carbon copies
3. you speak your mind. and yes, that is a good thing

1) Honesty- most aspies seem to have an aversion to telling lies, even white lies, and I think this is an admirable trait.
2)True to self... those who aren't trying to conform and mimic the rest of society are being true to themselves.
3)Focus...barring the presence of ADD/ADHD, aspies tend to have a good level of concentration
4)Different thinking...we seem to view things totally differently to the 'norm', making us pretty useful in some areas

In the end, every person in the world has stuff about themselves they don't like and issues they have trouble dealing with. We just have a different set of issues, that is all and like anyone else, we have to learn to live with them and do what we can to make the most of ourselves regardless. See it as a challenge. :)
