Has anyone found a way to not over-analyze?
Heavy sedation, through at times less than legal means, did
some "good," but was far more detrimental in the long run. I'd say try to get your mind on something else, but at least in my own experience I never found that to be easy, if at all possible.
Is this an issue for you every day? Have you talked to a psychiatrist / therapist / counselor about it? If you haven't tried any anti-anxiety medications, that
could help. I say that even though I'm personally not all that big of a fan of medications, never had much luck myself, but they
can be of benefit to some people, and one might be for you.

Is there anything that you really enjoy doing that you could go and do? Same issue as before, it is basically saying "distract" yourself, which for me was frequently far easier said than done, but it would be worth a shot. Reading, videogames, whatever hobbies you may have, that might help some, even if it doesn't "make things better." Tolerable isn't "good," but it is better than some alternatives.
