I feel like I'm taking a big risk with my life, or rather, my life after death, if I don't learn to astro-project (have an out-of-body experience). If I can't get out at will, how am I supposed to survive my death? When you don't have an escape plan for in case your house burns down or is caving in, the probability increases that you will get trapped in the house and die! Do you know what you mean? Please say you do!

Its usually very hard for most people to do it when its planned out, if they are not experienced. You pretty much have to come across it by accident a few times before you get it down. Its only happened to me when Im waking up so I still have no idea.

The thing is that there isn't a soul. Therefore any talk of 'escaping' is meaningless.

The difference is that astral projection is stepping out and returning when you want, while dying is being taken out gently and guided home when your time here is done.

"Out-of-body experiences" are more or less a neurological quirk, and can be duplicated with electrical stimulation of certain parts of the brain. There really haven't been any reproducible studies that prove astral projection to be any more than a subjective experience, like dreaming. I wish there were a way to prove or disprove the existence of a soul or afterlife, but it looks like not even astral projection can provide that kind of verification.

Im sure the answer is out there, besides what one can personally experience. If it was released into the public there would be chaos.. But like I said theres plenty of advanced information that is witheld from us, and will stay that way for the rest of time as we know it.

From what I understand of astral projection, it will not help you escape death.
In astral projection, you are still connected to your body. You are even putting yourself at a greater risk for death.
In astral projection, there is supposedly a silver thread that connects you to your body. If that thread breaks, you are dead, and whatever happens to you after death will happen.
I'm pretty sure your physical death will manage to break that thread.
I'm not exactly an expert on the subject, but I've read a bit about it.
I am quite sure you cannot escape death through this method, although I must admit it is an interesting one.
On a final note, Hi Ana! I like your avatar.

It is automatic, and never fails, you leave when the body dies. There has never been a case of a dead person remaining in the body.

All of science both denys the soul, and says energy cannot be destroyed.

A battery that went dead in an instant, who would say the charge ceased to exist? Shorted, grounded, those electrons went somewhere.

Laid on a rubber sheet the charge would stay, it does not happen, nothing flows to ground, and the human brain is about 5 Watt, enough energy to send a radio signal to Australia.

There is more going on than we can see, deeper than we can understand, but we all get to go for the ride.
