I had an awful meltdown this week in which I almost attempted suicide.

I'm now physically sick.

That's all.

Hard to tell if that last comment is optimism or just a plain old closing remark.

I'm glad you are reaching out to folks even if it's coming here and posting.

When you feel like sharing more (if you do) you do know people here will be interested in hearing what you say and you will undoubtedly receive support.

This is a nice place.

Hope you get better quickly! :D

Do you mean to say that you were feeling bad in your mind, but are no longer? And now you are "just" physically sick? (Although that can be bad enough on its own!)

My own experience is that when I'm not happy in my mind, a cold or a flu usually follows.

Hope you feel better soon, Beau.

Try not to give into suicidal thoughts, wrap yourself in a cozy blanket and try listening to your favorite music, sitting in a rocking chair and journaling...that always comforts me...I like Mozart myself, and rocking and rocking and yes, rocking....lol...also keep posting, we will all write back to you...this is a good place and people will post replys, you are not alone....if you don't know the joy of a rocking chair, then you must get one asap, hang in there!****

Sorry to hear you're feeling so bad.

Just try to focus on the fact that however bad the situation there is always a way out (and believe me, I speak from experience here)

And as Wabbits suggests, try to relax however you can - whether it is by hiding away, stimming, listening to music, sitting in a dark room - what ever works for you.

Sometimes it is important to take a day off from the world.

Sorry to hear that, just focus on the positive things you have going for you. Consciously think about the lighter side of what ever gets you down. If your thoughts are negative, then you'll continue to feel awful. I hope you feel better!

I'm getting a cat this weekend to act as not only therapy, but simply because I love them. Had to give my old one to my mom last year, but we've decided that I need an animal with me. It's for the best.

So things are starting to turn around slowly.

YAY! Good for you! I wish I could be a good caretaker for another animal. I miss those three little kittens.

I hope you get just the right cat for you! :D

I have had a really rough week too, *hugs* (referring to last week)
Mostly being around family has gotten me down, however not becasue of Thanksgiving,
There was a tragedy in my family, My grandfather was killed by my Grandma, who then killed herself, so I have been with my family for most of the time,
I can say now though, I know things will be better eventually, I know that in time everything will be okay..

Stay strong, Beau, and in time, everything will be okay.
