Have you ever seen something that was just WRONG, but you couldn't explain how?

Like something I saw on Sesame Street when I was a kid, how this person was so attached to this meatball, and was singing a song about his meatball rolling away, and finding it squashed flat on the floor in a perfect circle and saying "My poor meatball." If he was so atached to the meatball why did he let it roll away and why is he focusing on the squashed-flat meatball or trying to fix it now that it's squashed flat, wash it an fix it, if it means so much to him?

He could have bought a meatball inflator, as well. Or a new meatball altogether. He could have picked up the meat and rolled it back into a ball.

He could've just eaten the meatball before it rolled away. Never leave food uneaten.
