ok, my grandma got mad at me & didn't want me to go the movies because I didn't close the blinds & she thought I was being rude & irrogant for not listening to her it's not my fault sometimes I have a short attention span & have trouble focusing on things sometimes I think people aren't understanding of me

it might not be your fault you have a short attention span or have trouble focusing on things but that is what we learn to control because we don't want people to feel that way about it.

our DX is not our 'get out of jail free' card.

Took me decades to discover this manipulation, the specialty of mothers and husbands, but nowadays I don't fall for it.
