I have found recently that I drink a lot of caffine, that it keeps me in a caffinated, up-beat mood... but recently I have realized that it's become something worse that a state-of-mind chage. I have become dependant on it.
If I am without it I get terribly depressed.... I don't know what to do....

I need help..

Have you considered a good psychiatrist? Or some other professional help?

Well, if nothing else, you can see someone for the depression, maybe they can help you with that.

btw, if you would rather talk about this privately, or you would like someone to say a prayer for you, you can PM me. You don't have to, though.

you are saying a depression that is alleviated by simple caffeine is a psychiatric case?

What medical school did YOU graduate from?

No, but I imagine that the type of dependency he has on caffine isn't. I thought he said he was addicted.

Meh, at least it's just caffeine and not alcohol. You can live with that. ;/

True. He just sounded depressed about it, that's all.

But I guess there are a lot of worse things you could get addicted to.

Now, if it was affecting his sleep, THAT would be a problem.

I've been dependant on just about every drug on earth. My advice to you is to slowly taper down the amount you use. Every day consume a little less than you did the day before. That will probably be the easiest method. I think you'll find that it won't be that difficult. I hope this helps.
