I've just got back from a great work experience in Poitiers, and I realised that the only times that I've actually been happy have been when I was out of the country. So I plan to leave, probably to Poitiers again. There's a waitress I want to romance there.

I need to spend a long time (2+ weeks) in France as often and as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, I'll be at 6th form until 2009 and at university until 201-god-knows. So I can't live there permanently without giving up my education. Which I would be fine with, as I question the necessity of a formal education. But I feel that I will have a breakdown of some kind if I don't spend enough time abroad.

Right now my plan is to go in August sometime.

And maybe I'll take a gap year after 6th Form.

I hate every second I spend in this th****ing country.

Advice?

People are full of pessimism and loathing here. Id move to Sweden or Canada if i could.
Everything went wrong here when people lost thier national identity.

The weather's horrible, the politics is irrelevant and I'm never happy.

From what I hear Sweden is a good deal worse for state-sponsored socialism than Britain is. The state over there has a monopoly on the booze! Unthinkable here.
