I've been feeling quite lonely and hopeless lately and today I went to college again for the 1st time in 2 weeks (I used to feel like dropping out of college). 2 popular girls in my form who don't usually talk to me said hello and asked if I was feeling better, which was nice. I'm going on a college trip with my English Lit class to the theatre in London I have found someone to go around with, she gave me her phone number and is really nice, so I hope I have a good time with her. Finally, it was results day today and I did a lot better than I expected.
I got:

GCSE Maths - Grade C
AS Sociology - Grade B
AS Psychology - Grade B
AS English Literature - Grade B (I was 4 marks away from an A-grade)

I was expecting to get D or E grades at the highest :o I have been in college since September 2007, when I was 15 and I am a year younger than everyone else.
It's amazing how much my life has changed in 1 day. I won't have to re-sit any exams and I hope to go to Cambridge university next year :)

Well done Nico!

Good luck with your study buddy, and with getting into Cambridge. They'd be lucky to have you.

Thanks for your kind words, everyone :D

I am going to apply to Cambridge sometime in the summer so I can start there in 2009. I'm aiming to get 3 A-grades as that's what the standard offer is for entry to Cambridge. My next set of exams are in June and I get the results in August, so I'll keep you posted on all my academic achievements and friendships.

Good Job, Nico. I'm happy for you. Never give up. If you're going to Cambridge, then I must say that some of the best in history went there. I hope the best for you. :-)
