I got really really tired of not having any control. I've had to move, I have one friend, But he lives far away, and it hurts. I had petty much been coerced, and i guess brainwashed by an old friend, into straightening my hair. i just got tired and doen, and I cut it all off last night. there is only a tiny bit left.

I ahd gone to a stylist a few weeks ago, for something new, and flattering, and she gave me the same damn thing. I feel so sad. Now i have this weird, short hair, thats half curly and half straight.

My mom is going to call a nice salon to fix me up, but i'm scared.


I feel like I always mess things up.

I cut my long hair off too when I was 17, lol! I was bored. Well, I dunno, maybe I was just sick of it. First I cut one half of it off and the other half down to about the bottom of my neck, then I chopped it all off so it looked almost shaved or buzzed or whatever. I think it looked better after the first time I cut it with half long and half short.


Hey, is that what made you cut your hair; at least that's one thing you have control over? Probably not, but I'm curious.

Oops, I forgot... no strikethru code on this board or something... oh well, there's supposed to be.

what about the "wet look"? they make gels that make your hair look wet all the time, so if you like it wet, maybe you could just go with it.

With you on the bad haircut thing, I really liked my last one, and I apparently didn't explain it well enough to the next stylist... Guess I just get to wait until it grows back.

I cut my hair last year. It was only the bangs, but it looked pretty bad, lol.

I will give you a big hug, and promise not to squeeeeeeez to hard. I had hair so long and thick that some people thought that it was'nt real. Then I cut it all off.My own father did not know who I was the first time he saw me, not untill i spoke to him. That felt a little bit odd and comical at the same time! I have cut my hair a few times since then. REMEMBER THIS: IT WILL GROW BACK!! !

Let's hug each other, as we both had rough days. I presented this play (which I somehow directed and was the main character in), and I kept on forgetting lines. I was nearly in tears by the end, as I had them all memorized, I just was so nervous because I was getting marked on it/ I was presention in a play I didn't know well and there were 50 people watching me, including my crush.

I cut all my hair off when I was 10 years old but not for the same reason as you...I was just sick of brushing mine lol.
