My aunt passed away, last night. She was 60 years old. She was sick, for a very long time. It's very unfortunate that she had to pass away, after my friend left for his vacation, and the timing is horrible. I've got to stay strong. The question is, what can I do, to stay strong? The main thing is, that she's at peace, now. She was sick, for many years. She had one of the worse cases of arthritis, in the world, she had anorexia and she had no immune system, left. It's a strange coincidence, that my aunt passed away on the night that the leader of my threesome was on flight to Hawaii.

Aw, I'm sure she's peaceful whether she is. I hope you and your family the best, even with your Aunt's passing.

Sorry for your loss. When my Grandmother died of cancer the assurances that she was in a better place didn't make it any easier to take. With time the pain will be less acute but that doesn't change the fact that life sucks in these situations. Hang tough until it gets better.

Known but never expected. Some things you just have to face by yourself. Kind words and support help, but feeling is within. Thinking of people is the best we can do.

I am thinking of you.

Also sorry to hear about your loss.

I find that keeping busy helps keep the mind off the grief... but it's not healthy to suppress feelings.

Go ahead and allow yourself to feel what you will, just don't let them overwhelm you and cause you to do damage somehow.

Glad to see you are still posting here... at least you are still up for socializing, which is a good sign.

Take good care!

Death is so difficult. Feel what you have to feel - or not feel - for as long as you need to. No one else really knows what you are going through or what time you need to process your loss. It's a good time to be a little selfish for your needs.

I'll be remembering you tonight.

Z

Sorry to hear of your loss, I also lost 2 aunts my Aunt Ruth on dec 28th, and my Aunt Jess on feb 22nd, they both had cancer, it is also the anniversary of my Dads death, we had buried him last year on on april 2nd. Death has a way of sneaking up on families, which really makes it hard to deal with, but the pain eventually fades away, just try to remember the good memories.

It's terrible. My sympathies are with you. My mum's friend died yesterday afternoon too. I'm afraid life likes to take a dump on people from a great height. Keep your head held high, OK? :)

I think all of you for your support, once again. I'm going to keep busy over the next week. I'm also going to get plenty of rest, as well. I'll look on the sunny side. :)
