..and I'm still in shock. Magnus (kitty) was my baby and he was only 9 months old. We were as close as a mama and baby. It still hasn't hit. I haven't cried yet. I just keep thinking he's alive and I want to go see him, even if he's dead. I just want to see him one last time.

He went out yesterday morning and the neighbors found him under a tarp on their porch. They thought he was asleep but he was not alive. My landlady just called to let me know.

My BF says it would be too traumatic to look at him again, but it might help me to say goodbye. I just don't know.

Wow that sucks. Sorry for you loss. And you never expect that with a young pet; so much more of a shock. Sorry.

I'm lucky; I've never gotten to know a cat and then had the cat die. But I have gotten to know cats and then had them run away never to be seen by me again.

I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of your little guy :(

In regard to seeing him again, do what you think is right. If that means going to see him one last time to say goodbye, you should do so.

That he was so young makes it that much harder. My condolences.

Thank you so much. It did help to see him one last time. I petted him and saw how beautiful he is. I cried all afternoon. I hope the angels are taking good care of him. He was my baby.

My BF has been wonderful today, very supportive and comforting. This has truly been one of the saddest days of my life.

I really appreciate everyone's support, very much.
