No, you don't have the right to hurt her. Funny how angry you are about your mom whipping you, when you turn around and pick on other people.

here's an idea: when she disrespects you just go up and give her a hug. dont let go for a few minutes and say nothing.

ive read a lot about this and it seems to work very well for women (that is women that are on the receiving end of the hug).

Hey hey hey hey! What on Earth makes you think you have the right to go around attacking people? Can I hit you if I feel like it? No. You get what you deserve if you attack members of your family without good reason.

I agree. Nothing fixes things better than a hug. I like that idea better, than the idea of you treating your sister the way your mother treats you.

That's how I like to solve things. :O)

Maybe I'll try doing this sometime, too. It sounds like it might work.

Methinks you are the one with issues, not your sister. Go see a shrink.

I might understand you being a little angry, but to act as if you are owed respect and have a higher position just because of your age is kind of pathetic. She is a human being with as many rights as you, and certainly the right to be physically safe.

I find this thread funny.

Threads circled with her complaining that she was "whipped" and now threads are circling about her beating her heffer of a sister.

My sentiment excatly. Do you really deserve her respect as you say? What have you done to deserve her respect? Also, hurting others will not get you their respect, they may fear you, but they will never respect you unless you do the respectable thing!

It's not okay to turn around and do the same thing to someone else that is being done to you you don't like. I can understand you want things to be even with you and your sister because you want things to be fair?
Being nice to people gives you niceness in return.
The golden rule is, treat others the way you like to be treated.

Is it okay for abused children to grow up and do the same thing to their kids their parents did to them? My answer, no.

My brother hit me , my father hit him , my grandfather hit my dad . . . . .

I decided it stops with me.

Sounds like your sister is doing exactly what she should. Well not quite exactly. As you said you are an adult, and she would really be describing what you do to her to the police.

Actually though going by federal laws, Alex might have to report this post along with your ip to the police. I hope so - then your sister will get what she deserves - a life without your abuse, and you will get what you deserve - jail time for child abuse, and by your own admission, unprovoked abuse with no valid reason leading up to it

You really should treat people the way that you wish to be treated. Throwing things doesn't solve anything, either. Your mum is wrong to treat you the way that she does, but at the same time, you shouldn't be doing the same thing to your sister. If you want respect, you've got to earn it. You haven't been doing that. You're not going to earn your mother's respect, by destroying property. What are you going to do, if you have kids of your own, one day? are you going to abuse them?

I think she needs counseling. Get put in rehab and get counseling. Something needs to be done about the mother too.

I wonder how long she has been abused for? Child abuse can sure mess up the child in their adulthood because they can turn into the same thing that was done to them as kids.
Children who were abused have grown up and turned into child abusers them selves but I heard lot of them who were abused, grow up and turn into okay adults because they don't want to let it run their adult life, ruin their lives, etc. They even turn into okay parents too because they don't repeat the same behavior to their kids because they sure didn't like it so therefore they don't want their kids to go through the same thing they went through as kids.
