Just don't care anymore.....

I don't care if I kill myself.. I mean, I have enough tablets in the box...

The reason why I am so depressed is that my brother has just tried to kill me! I mean, a serious attempt! All I did was tell him to turn his music down a BIT and he goes psycho on me! He got a butchers knife out of the cupboard and lunged at me. And when that didn't work, cos I moved, he got his lighter out of his pocket and kept on burning me... Then he smacked my cheek with his fist and now one of his knuckles is broken... and after that he kept on poking me, all over... and spat in my hair...

I'm really worried about him, I'm worried that if he doesn't kill me it will be one of my parents or some random person who annoys him in the street.

I'm sure he has ADHD or something, I've been looking up the symptoms/traits and a lot of them seem to match...

By the way, my brother attacking me is not the only reason I want to kill myself.. there is plenty of other reasons too, which I'm sure if you have been reading my posts you know all about!

Please don't do it. We'll all miss you, if you take your own life, and I won't be able to hug you, any more.

yeah, I know what you mean. I am an alcoholic in recovery for 20+ years and all I have to do is take a drink and I am toast.

When I get down, when people dis respect me, when I am so tired of the daily grind of grinding away another day, just so I can grind away tomorrow. I know what you mean.

oh, yeah, I suppose I am supposed to do the obligatory "Just say NO" and "suicide is a permanant cure for a temporary situation" and " oh, there, there, things aren't that bad"

Try to stay away from your brother. Work on improving your life situation. I know you care a bit about living, and you have some determination to live. That's all you need.

If your brother is doing these things he needs to get serious help now before he really does hurt someone or you seriously.

I figure suicide is something I can always do later.

Your brother could also attack someone who kills him in self-defense. He has more than ADHD going on. If you can have him arrested for attacking you it would be a favor to him.

If you can get away from him, it would be a favor to you. If not, a small bottle of pepper spray is useful. Hide it in the palm of your hand. When he starts to attack, spit in his eye, step back and spray, then run like hell.

It would be a shame to lose you because other people have problems and don't treat you right.

That's scary... If your brother ever tries that again, please call the police!! ! Stay away from him as much as possible too! It doesn't sounds like ADHD though- more like antisocial personality disorder or something. Don't kill yourself over it though- it's his problem, not yours!

You must stay away from your brother. It would be better if you went to some kind of safe house and tell someone in authority. Where are your parents? Surely they must know about your brother's harming behaviour. And please keep in touch. We do care here.

this is just a suggestion but maybe it is a dominance thing and i am probably the only one here who would say this but i would if i was you fight back well enough to make him see what kind of adversary you can be...as for suicide hang in there man i hope it works out
