I am really starting to get rather nervous about WrongPlanet. I am feeling like I am annoying the people here by posting and that I should not be a bother. Am I rightful in this or is it my imagination speaking to me?

Heh I know the exact same thing, which is why I NEVER posted anything even though I have just been scoping out what people have said in here for months on end. I finally started talking and I am starting to get used to being able to speak my mind in here. It just takes a little trust and a little encouragement from other people. Like me for instance , so to answer your question I think its just your imagination.

I sometimes wonder if i'm annoying people by the things that I say on WP, but most of the time, it's just paranoia based on what has happened in past experiences.

I don't think that you've annoyed anyone, well, not that i've noticed anyway.
Keep posting. Everyone is welcome.

yes i feel the same a lot of the time, but i do wherever i talk either virtually or in real life

Hi Vashna - I don't think you're transgressed and I hope you don't feel anyone thinks your an annoyance. No one should tell you, or imply, you're a bother! You can post whatever you like; your interests, insights, etc. I am conscientious too; maybe sometimes here unknowingly hurt your feelings - I'm sorry if that's true.

I would keep trying! I think once they become more familiar, you'll be ok.

Very rarely I've accidentally hurt another's feelings through sheer misinterpretation; that is, they misinterpret my post. Then I feel awful - I'm very conscientious. This happened recently in the Love & Dating Forum and I still feel badly although I surely meant nothing 'wrong' or 'bad.' I apoligized, profusely, but I haven't heard back - the one I accidentally hurt, through his misinterpretation, might still be upset with me. This is an isolated situation for me!

Mostly just common sense, and manners. I don't ever think you've said anyting wrong! No worries. And keep posting.

Thank you very much...all of you. Those are very refreshing things to hear and are very different then what I tell myself. I really hope to be more integrated (If that's really the right word) around these parts. I'm starting to feel a little more comfortable.
