NT!! !

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh okay so ya I am a nt I have a wonderful boyfriend who has
asperger's right. So ya I am just sitting here reading post and I figured I would show one of my friends this site
well that din't go to well. Basically I was telling him about the 5 year old that got voted out of school. so I showed him the artical thinger and he is all like this is a bull.... forum all they want to do is get a rise out of people if this would have actually happened it would have been all over the news I was lucky I am not there with him. I could feel my blood presure rise. so ya we got into this huge fight and i found the actual artical from the paper that it was posted in and he is like fine I guess its true. It pisses me off. people that have no idea what aspergers is have no idea what they are missing out on. Like my mother she has no idea what aspergers is she is all like why would you want to be with a guy who has aspergers your kids are going to have aspergers I want you to have a normal family and she goes on and on about this all the time. Its like aahhhhhhhhhhhhh some one save mee!! I am so sick of her.

I know where your coming from unfortunatelly its society in general that alienates people on the autism spectrum and then wonders why they want to back away from society... not being able to be who you are from birth, can be quite damaging... so being on the autism spectrum myself I get very frustrated when people who have no idea, just do not want to listen or know... they are the problem!

Hey everyxthing,

You aren't like that, so there's gotta be other NT's out there that aren't like that either.

Things are getting pretty weird when an aspie's telling an NT that NT's aren't all the same.

Did you say that wasn't proper? Did you march out on the track?
You were quiet, just like mice. And now you say that we're not nice.
Well thank you buddy for your advice...

The five year old voted out of class most likely WAS all over the news.

Poor little fella. I've been getting teary just imagining how it must have made him felt. All we can do is try and educate as many people as we can to stop ignorant adults torturing aspie kids like this.

I've leaned both ways on this one, but I have to go with the ones who say that the teacher behaved unprofessionally. I realize that finding a better way to do this requires some kind of emotional control, but when I was his age the teachers expectorated a degree of emotional control from me that was far greater than the absolutely non-existent emotional control that they demonstrated in their own conduct. If a teacher doesn't want to go to the trouble of even using her brain, she is then unfit to teach.

When I was the boy in question I wasn't allowed a mulligan, or any "I wasn't feeling good that day." I had to be more adult than the adults, who would deliberately set me up so that they could excuse hitting me.

Further, a lot of my so-called misbehavior was because people deliberately shoved me around. Sometimes I'm absolutely certain that the so-called teacher KNEW exactly what was going on and egged the other kids on to do more stuff.

A person CANNOT learn in such an environment.
