Hi, sorry to be on such a downer in all my posts, but i guess WP is my only real outlet.... My life is a total train wreck in slow motion. Im at uni now, but i dont know what work to do, and my grades are falling. I never talk to anyone. The people in my accomodation block are really loud, and i cant even concentrate sitting in my own room. No one listens when i say i have AS related problems (still self-Dx). Waiting to get on a waiting list for an official Dx. I lack self-confidence and Im very self-conscious. I should be able to do all kinds of stuff, but i just cant get things in motion. Im like a paper tiger. I have no life. I have no friends. My family is so cold. How am i meant to stay positive?

Find some Aspie friends. When I first entered college after a traumatic period through regular school, I didn't want to talk to no one... I didn't even say hi. But the Aspies saw me and became my friends. Aspies like to do stupid crap like play childish car games, Chinese Fire Drills or play Smash Bros. Check out the science and tech major nerds...

Thanx 4 your advice Angnix... I guess i find it really hard to take the first step. Then hard to keep up momentum...I have had Aspie friends in the past - We were friends for like a few years before i even knew he was AS. Everything seemed easier back at school, since i would see the same people in lessons day in day out. Good advice tho. will work on it..... :)

I had similar problems my 3rd year of college - mostly because I had no idea what to declare as a major. I stopped going to classes and received several failures. What really helped was to go to the counseling center and they helped me to figure out what I was interested in doing, and then helping me to put together suitable classes for a major.

One thing I learned - It is counterproductive to compare myself to other people. I needed to do what I needed to do for me.

Z

This already sounds like good advice. I am probably doing the wrong degree anyway -should be studying English, but its too late to transfer or even get on a course next year. Oh well :)
Thanx for your advice and suport :D
